As also happened in other Italian regions that they didn't historically have traditions for the wine of merit, all of a sudden the precursor comes out, a wine cellar that has turned page and it has served as drawing for all the others in the modern philosophy of the wine of quality; for Campania this wine cellar is Mastroberardino, best reference for the oenology of Campania. A job daily developed with passion, made of long experimentations, handed down in the generations of the family Mastroberardino and without never surrendering to the flatteries of the easy and immediate market; the respect and the exploitation of the territory, the rediscovery of that autochtonous vines, aglianico, fiano, falanghina, Greco di tufo, today well-known and installed elsewhere also. The history of the family Mastroberardino is born in the seven hundred one, from a certain Berardino, said "Mastro" for his oenologic abilities, its wine cellars were found to Atripalda, in the heart of the Irpinia, where today the vineyards and the wine cellars of the actual firm are still Mastroberardino; today they are to the state-of-the-art one and it's also destination of visitors from the whole world with the beautiful caves full of paintings. Then, a lot of faschinating the job that Mastroberardino is bringing ahead in the vineyards in the ancient Pompeii.
