Femar Vini is sited among the boundaries of Frascati, Monte Porzio Catone and the Agro Romano, on the southwest ridge of a sunny hill. Renewed with a philosophy based on the excellence, the Company within a decade has achieved very prestigious results, with a clear conscience to live and work in an area that makes the efforts of those who work seriously. The company was founded in the'70s by Armando Merge '. His son Felice Merge' in the early'90s having observed and studied deeply the wine national and international realities, has been able to make its own mark by experimenting with new revolutionary processes of winemaking and aging that led Femar Wines to current standards. The Femar Vini owns about 40 hectares of vineyards and has other grapes and wines delivered by associated companies which provide a diversification of product range. In its technical aspects the winery spreads over about 6,000 square metres with 2 operating units: one equipped with steel containers for winemaking and storage, a modern bottling line and sophisticated laboratory analysis, the other is designed to accommodate an experimental tufaceous underground containing more than 800 barrels in areas reserved for large conical barrels oak slavonia for red and white wines of particular structure. The company has thus collected and won the challenge of combining in a single project forward and the production needs with the most advanced technology.
